01 Brief Introduction of Curing Oven for Powder Coating/Spraying
Curing oven system. Divided into bridge type and tunnel type.
The tunnel oven has a wind curtain at both ends ,so the heat will not loss, which saves the fuel. This is our patent.And tunnel oven is suitable for long and thin products,like pipes;
The bridge oven is installed on the metal frames,the burner chamber is under the oven,so save space,and people can cross the oven from the bottom,products can transport from the bottom,save manual labor;and the bridge oven is suitable for most of the products which are not so long;
The oven is made of galvanized plate inner and outside,the middle insulation is 150 mm rock wool.
Box Type Curing Oven
The box-type curing oven is typically designed for manual powder coating lines, such as slide-in track systems.
The interior and exterior of the oven are constructed using 0.6mm galvanized steel plates, with a 150mm rock wool insulation layer in between for optimal heat retention.
The conveyor chain operates semi-automatically and functions independently from the slide-in track, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
Tunnel curing ovens feature a conveyor belt system that moves workpieces through a tunnel-shaped chamber. These ovens are long and narrow, with heating elements along the walls or ceiling for even heat distribution. Wind curtains at both ends minimize heat loss, making them ideal for high-throughput production lines.
The efficient ventilation system ensures balanced air circulation and stable temperatures. Gas burner designs provide 100% heat efficiency, reducing waste. Tunnel ovens are cost-effective as they are built directly on the ground, but their thermal insulation is weaker compared to bridge ovens. They are better suited for long workpieces rather than wide ones, as wider doors can weaken the air curtain, leading to heat loss and higher energy costs.
Tunnel ovens are compatible with power-and-free conveyor systems, offering flexibility for various production needs.
Bridge Type Curing Oven
The bridge oven is mounted on metal frames, with the burner chamber underneath, saving space and allowing people or products to pass below. It's ideal for long and wide products and features excellent heat insulation, preventing hot air from mixing with outside cold air, reducing energy consumption.
However, longer or taller workpieces require a larger turning radius and higher tracks, increasing design complexity and costs. Bridge ovens are well-suited for automated conveyor systems, offering efficiency and versatility.
The Heating System of the Oven
The heating system mainly consists of chamber, burner(heating exchanger), hot air circulating fan,air ducts,etc;

The heating chamber is installed on the oven left and right side(according to the plant layout), with the oven body as a connected structure;
The heating chamber have the maintain door, easy to maintenance and can be used as the new air inlet for quickly reducing the oven temperature.
