1. Dry Recovery System
Dry recovery systems use physical methods to recover excess paint during the spraying process without the need for water as a medium. Common types include:
1.1Paper filtration system**: Special paper is used as a filter material, and excess paint is captured and collected on the paper through airflow. This system is suitable for small spraying operations, easy to maintain, but has lower filtration accuracy.
1.2Fiber filtration system**: Fiber filters are used to capture overspray particles, suitable for small to medium-sized spray workshops. It has better recovery efficiency than paper filtration and is often used in industries like automotive painting.
1.3Cyclone separator**: Through rotating airflow, overspray paint particles are separated and collected. It is mainly used to handle larger paint particles, ideal for large-scale spray lines.
2. Wet Recovery System
Wet recovery systems use liquids (water or specific solutions) to capture and recover waste gases and paint particles during the spraying process. Common types include:
2.1Water curtain recovery system**: A water curtain is used to capture overspray particles generated during the spraying process, with the excess paint being recovered with the water flow. This system is commonly used in large-scale spray lines, effectively reducing dust pollution.
2.2Water spray system**: Water mist is used to capture airborne overspray particles and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This system offers high recovery efficiency but is relatively complex in terms of equipment maintenance.
3.Filtration and Adsorption System
Filtration and adsorption systems use physical or chemical adsorption to recover particles and VOCs generated during the spraying process:
3.1Activated carbon adsorption system**: Activated carbon is used to adsorb organic compounds, capturing and recovering VOCs produced by spraying. It is widely used in environments with high environmental standards for spray operations.
3.2HEPA filtration system**: High-efficiency particulate filters are used to capture fine particles. These systems are often employed in industries where extremely high air quality is required, such as precision manufacturing during the spraying process.
